Abyssinia Natural Resource Development and Environmental Protection Charity
The Abyssinia Natural Resources Development and Environmental Protection Charity Organization (ANRDEPC) is a non-profit making organization founded in 2022 by a group of Ethiopian volunteers to play their role in Natural Resource Development and Environmental Protection and to support the livelihood of disadvantage people.
The Charity has multisectoral interventions in forestry, environmental protection, agricultural and livelihood development activities. ANRDEPC exist to contribute to the improvement of the lives of the poor particularly rural communities to be able to benefit from environmental protection, education, health care, livelihood, and green energy other basic social services and capacity building opportunities. ANRDEPC mainly working on the activities of Agriculture, Agro-forestry, renewable & Clean energy, Environmental Protection, education, training, livelihood, health care and humanitarian activities.

To improve, restore and preserve our environment and address environmental issues through scientific discovery, creativity and perseverance and teach people to manage the delicate balance between people and the environment on which we depend. To support and improve disadvantaged rural poor societies affected by natural and manmade disasters.

How We Got Started
The forestry and environmental protection activities have already been started since 2020 for implementation in Hadiya zone in Ambricho district. The project strives to restore degraded land through establishing new bamboo plantation and restocking natural bamboo forest using highland species. ANRDEPC exist to contribute to the improvement of the lives of the poor particularly rural communities to be able to benefit from environmental protection, education, health care, livelihood, and green energy other basic social services and capacity building opportunities.
